Maya House of Cacao is a premier chocolate production facility and brand based out of the Toledo District, Belize in Central America. We are very fortunate to work with indigenous farmers and traders from the area to cultivate the best, most organic and fair trade chocolate products the region has to offer. We strive to change the public view of chocolate from being an unhealthy dessert treat to a natural, nutrient packed everyday part of the human diet.
Maya House of Cacao works with local farmers and markets to help improve not only the quality of the products from the area, but also the health and working conditions of its people. We are dedicated to ensuring that local indigenous groups are compensated fairy and equally for the chocolate items they produce through our facilities and our brand.
Maya House of Cacao is a project of the Toledo Cacao Growers Association and is working with members of the European Union to help increase the production and value of chocolate products from the Belize area.
